:badidea: There are no banks with "good" interest rates . .

No Wait!!

There is "good for nothing"
--------> "No damm good"
--------> "No F- ing good"

:frown: The Government does not figure in Energy & Food prices as part of the 'rate of inflation'. :disgust:
Therfore, the Government's figure is just :uhoh2: 'One Big Inflated Flatuent'.:poop:

:birgits_tiredcoffeePreferred Stocks pay a good dividend.
:hmm:Some Common Stocks pay OK.

But, putting it in a Savings Account . .? . :shakehead: . is like eating beer & eggs and expecting a favorable outcome.
:sunot:

Just to keep this going...Based on this thread I decided to try out PenFed. Well, I just got off the phone with them and couldn't be happier thus far. I got signed up for 5 years with 1.49%. They said I should have the check in hand in less than a week, just in time for my truck to show up...or so I hope.

Interest Rate

I just bought mine through Harris Bank with a 2.09% for 63 months. All depends on how good your credit score is though as to what your rate will be.
