Just for fun we wired one to a 9v battery and it ran solid for almost 6 hours. Not quite as bright but still impressive! :)

Alright thanks guys! Like I said, I would love to have some light in my bed. Trying to find your gear on a cold morning with your flashlight i your mouth gets old. I may do a couple of those an a couple of 9 volts. That should give me plenty of light and would be easy enough to wire!

hey KC do you guys have them in green? i see red and amber but no green. i need 4 green cyclones to throw under the truck!

No but blue and green have been talked about since we have done so well with them. Will check it out and see what the deal is and report back.

I went a little cheaper route. $2.99 27-LED worklight from Harbor Freight with magnetic back and fold out hook. I have it tucked up on one of the hood brackets and it never moves. When needed I move it to wherever needed, stick it to something or hang from the hook and turn it on. Takes 3AAA batteries that last a long time. When I get bored and I'm looking for a mod to do I'll probably get something more permanent like in this thread.
