I tried your tupperware idea and it wouldn't fit, how about a pic of this thing.
Did you cut it to fit cause I even tried a paper plate just to see if it would fit and
barely fit.
I just laid a rag under it and took it off fast.

what...really? hmm. yeah i can post a pic next time i change my oil.

You can also use a large plastic bag (clear is better). Just slide it up over the filter after you have it loose and let it drain into the bag. Then dump it.

I've been shoving a rag in there and just unscrew the filter fast, any oil will
spill onto the rag and done.
The tupperware would be nice but I just can't get it to fit.
