Depends on the insurance company! Ive seen some go up to 70%. After a Google search, apparently Texas is 100%?!...
Yup, each state sets the standard whether it be a % or a formula. For example, “a car is considered a total loss in Georgia when the vehicle’s actual cash value is equal to or less than the cost of repairs plus the salvage value.”

Awful news, I can’t imagine the frustration.

Which rail yard was yours sitting in? Mine’s been sitting since the 9th in Nashville, making me more paranoid by the day.

Welp, I was one of the few waiting on their LFG 2021 build and finally got notification it was delivered to the railyard this week waiting for transport. Was just called to be told that the truck was broken into at the railyard and suffered "extensive damage". Rep just found out and didn't have additional info for me. He was told that the radio was ripped out, the AC unit, and "other parts of the truck were damaged". He didn't seem to get the impression it was salvageable, but who knows. So much for the LFG color though...

For those who have had their ordered vehicles totaled in transit, what has your dealer or Ford done for you? Besides the color and options, pricing has obviously gone up YoY.

Believe it was in the Houston area.
I think all trucks in the Houston get delivered to Pearland area....Houston has too many thefts and even in residential areas everyday. I have many cousins who live in Houston and live in expensive areas who have security cameras.

The Houston DA refuses to prosecute crimes like this. I read a story recently about a criminal that thought he was committing the crime in Harris county and wasn't upset when he was caught. Apparently, he broke down into tears when he was told that the Harris county line was a half mile away and he was in Montgomery County. They do prosecute there.
