Can anyone confirm if the color is metallic or not? One of the other threads says it isn't, but it seems odd to have "Metallic" in the name if the color isn't.

No metallic at all in the paint. And it is very Orange. Will not be confused with red.

What cover is that everyone I saw above. Thoughts on that. Does it provide security if you have a locking tailgate or still easy to get into? I am between that and the mx4

I had the rapid red, and took this picture of both together. I would definitely go with the code orange.

What cover is that?

That is the Bak Revolver X4S. It’s an aluminum hard cover with a nice vinyl overlay. It rolls up like a traditional tonneau. It does lock into place and provides some good security. I was between that and the MX4. I watched many videos and obviously it comes down to personal choice.
