Pressure washed the undercarriage, let it dry for two days and then put on another coat of MPHD. The tape that the factory puts on over the holes in the rockers was already starting to come off, so I took all the tape off and then used the straw nozzle to coat the inside of the rockers. This should prevent the known issue of them rusting from the inside out. I will give the MPHD a few days to dry and then use a better tape to cover the holes.

This time, I did not use the MPHD on the rear shocks as it makes them look dirty. The product yellows a little, I tend to get runs and it collects dirt. Instead, I cleaned the shocks good and applied two coats of Adam's Quick Sealant.

Love MPHD. Makes the mud bead right up on the frame and makes rinsing it off along with the salt in the winter a breeze.

Getting ready to spray, just wanted to make sure it's ok to spray on rubber and plastic (like the wiring looms). Got my wheels off brakes covered and the truck masked off.

It is indeed ok to spray plastic, etc. Just avoid the actual electrical connectors themselves. It won't really hurt them, but the residue from the metal protector getting into the plugs where the wiring leads are can cause a failure to connect.

Got my 2014 home from the dealer and immediately coated the frame, leaf springs, etc — zero rust 3+ years later. I’m in the Chicago burbs where winter salt is harsh.

Yea im in the detroit area..... have always used ziebart but I dont want that done on this truck....

Did you do the underbody (ie the body itself?) and also did you spray internally to the truck in drain holes etc?

I ended up buying some of this instead of the AMSOil HDMP because its clear and gets great reviews...

I used roughly two cans of the stuff and hit everything that looked susceptible to corrosion. I hit the entire frame but didn’t hit the entire underbody but focused on connection points.
