I am not sure what you mean by putting relays in my aux. switches, I thought they already had relays in them and if I should where do I put them
there are relays on them, but if you want to use a higher current device, a relay with a higher current is necessary. i have 18 aux switches in my truck. i can control everything from 1 aux switch because the main aux switch controls all the relays rather than powering all the things i have directly

a general idea to follow would be to add up the amps of the lights or whatever it is and divide by the amp rating of the switch. if you are more than 80% of the current draw, its best to use an additional relay. so if you are using a 10amp switch and the lights are drawing 8amps, you should use a higher amperage relay.
I dont think I will be doing what you are doing but it sounds like fun
