Ambient Temp wrong/stuck? (GEN 2)

You guys do know that Ford doesn't make the actual sensors, right? Take it to the dealer. They'll snap in a new one for nothing.....

I have the same problem. The other day, I had blue smoke coming from the exhausts. Dealer claims ATS is linked to the Mass Air, and may have caused the smoke.

Do you keep it in a cool garage. Sometimes mine takes a while to read correctly. Has to heat/cool to outside temp? Sort of like a big heatsink.

I'm into week three. Haven't had anymore smoke, but I did notice the smell of mold in the truck. I brought it to the attention of the tech, who then started looking around the PCM. He found about a cup of water, he said, up and in and around the PCM. And that it looked like water had also made it into the wire housing. So, not the Ambient Temp Sensor. It's a water leak!!! Not coming from the windshield, like you'd think. The tech feels it's coming from the firewall. A, "Specialist", is coming down on Thursday to look around, and find out where the water is actually coming from. I'll keep you posted.
