Just noticed (had the truck for a week) that the amber grill and side lights don't light up during the day with the daytime lights. Is there a setting to make these turn on if the truck is on Auto Lights? Is there a ForScan hack for this if not a menu setting?

Thanks!

Yes, you can use Forscan to have the amber markers as the DRL, either with or without the headlights on. Better to view it on the spreadsheet (less confusing): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...iVSlDFGFHnfeuhb3RTMVz95730/edit#gid=815852466

Anyway, the relevant portion of the spreadsheet with the various options is pasted below.

DRL - Parking Lights only (stock LEDs only)
BCM
726-26-02 x1xx xxxx xxxx
726-50-01 01xx

** Testing DRLs: Make sure all of the following are set: **

1. Daytime Lights box checked in cluster under settings, adv settings, vehicle, lighting
2. Headlamp switch in the Auto position
3. Truck must be in gear for DRLs to work

DRL - Parking Light only (Halogens)
BCM
726-26-02 x1xx xxxx xxxx
726-45-01 xxxx 7Fxx xxxx
726-50-01 108E

DRL - Parking Lights & Low Beams only
BCM
726-26-02 x1xx xxxx xxxx
726-50-01 02xx

DRL - Parking Lights & Turns only
BCM
726-45-01 xxxx 7Fxx xxxx
726-26-02 x1xx xxxx xxxx
726-50-01 08xx

DRL - Anzo switchback white halo
BCM
726-45-01 xxxx 7Fxx xxxx
726-26-02 x1xx xxxx xxxx
726-50-01 10xx

DRL - Turns only (Halogen/aftermarket lights only)
BCM
726-45-01 xxxx 7Fxx xxxx
** On stock LEDs this will also illuminate outer halo
726-50-01 08xx

I have it setup like this on my truck and with the forscan changes you are just using the parking lights as the DRL so the side markers, license plate, etc are all on too. No way to just turn on the front ambers and grill.

I thought about doing this mod but the amber headlight surrounds and parking lights aren't very bright during the day. They aren't as bright as the dedicated running lamps on most other vehicles. Having the headlights on at a lower intensity is probably the safer way to go. When the first led daytime lamps appeared on cars, I thought they were really cool but everyone has them now, so I kind of like being different without them.

Can someone post the OEM "built by" To revert back to Gen2 stock for the DRL?

For that matter, is there a spreadsheet that shows all of the factory OEM "built by" codes for everything that is changeable?

I do have my backups, but would prefer just to change the codes.

And I also took pictures of Before & After, but they accidentally got deleted (oops)...

So...A spreadsheet of ALL the original forscan codes would be wonderful to have if it's available, as a compliment to the forscan changeable sheet

If anyone knows point me to it please!
