Alternative to IWE and F150 Unit Bearing

Just found this article that answers lots of fixed spindle vs unit bearing questions.

The Ford Super Duty unit bearing design is different in that is held together by a large nut on the back. The vehicle can be driven with a broke stub shaft or with the axleshaft removed. These also use selectable hubs, providing maximum fuel economy and reducing front axle wear.

Ideas needed: so I'm brainstorming again I have a fabricated spindle and am willing to get others made if something could be worked out. Alright looking at the Dana 44 I beam end cap locking hubs or something like the old gen Toyota locking hubs but not having stock tone rings might pose computer traction control complications. I assume the center holes of my methods could be punched out to accommodate their snouts. My guys are working out rather somethings possible but there's no such thing as too many ideas. Thanks
