Alternative High-Beam Connection ?

they say that you will need to change the wiring. however, 85 and 86 are interchangeable with a spst/spdt relay. maybe the ss relay is power directional. but 87 and 30 shouldnt matter as the relay connects those 2 pins upon activation

Thank you, there was a thread started somewhere I found on the web where someone swapped out a normal relay for one of these and as soon as they turned the key on the item turned on. Only way to shut it off is turning key off.

Am I looking at this picture correctly, there isn't a ground going to the relay????

this is a different style relay, so the wiring will definitely be different.
