Almost broken into...

So Sunday afternoon while i was walking out of church and to my 2013 Raptor i came to realize that some crazy *********** had the balls to try to break into my brand new truck while parked infront of the church. What has this world come to? Now the dealer is charging me $800 to fix the dent that the ******* left on my door with the screw driver and to repaint what has to be painted. What was there to steal anyways? I know that the navigation is around 2K but common seriously it was going to take him/them a while to remove a factory installed navigation.

He wasn't after that Nav. Most likely, the word is out that there an alarm does not come standard on these trucks. He was probably just after anything of value in your console or glovebox. Guns, knives, cash, etc.

Sorry for the news, sucks! Im in the process of adding a viper 2 way alarm, been through similiar. having a 2 way alarm is worth the $.

yup, Viper/Clifford 2 way alarm is the solution. There is a factory alarm, but you got to know there is a problem to solve it. I am not saying it will prevent crackhead bob from trying to jimmy the lock with a screwdriver, but at least it will set off the alarm and your keyfob and or smartphone will go crazy alerting you that you have a problem.

The mad dash to your truck in the middle of service would be to say the least obvious.

Had the same thing happen to me after I bought my 2012. Broke out my window and I ended up having to pay to get it painted by the factory. Sucks man.

That's just crazy man. I've had people just checking out my tuck or they parked alil to close for my taste, & i'll hit the panic button on my key and they move lol
