Btw, while we are on the subject, independent suspension on Lightning on rear, beefy too. Why not on Raptor in rear? Not up to task of off-roading?

Irs /ifs is a huge gamble off road because it limits traction and also puts the ride height over rocks all at different levels at each corner. A lot more to snag. Also limits the drive line/ axle shaft strength with all those additional articulating joints .

1) IRS superior comfort & handling, 2) substantial payload and tongue weight capability, or 3) 15" of quality suspension travel. Pick any 2.
