More power is always fun, but I love my 17 supercab's power to fuel economy. Look at the Trx, lots of power, but 10 miles to the gallon? Yeah it is heavier than the raptor, more power etc. I will still take my truck any day.

How is 700hp “useless”? My Raptor has no traction problems whatsoever. An extra 250hp (stock vs stock) would be welcome with open arms from me.

I think it could be anywhere from late Spring 2021 to early Spring 2022. We know that they have been doing some testing already and it shares a lot of the parts of the F150, so it's feasible that it may not take long to get production rolling. At the same time, they may not be all that ready and are only announcing now in order give TRX customers something to think about. They announced the Bronco close to a year in advance, so there is precedent for that.
As far as when it's the best time to release in terms of market, I think Spring would be the best time. You could argue that that doesn't give that much time for the new F150 to get sales, but I don't think the new models really compete much. It's probably viewed as more imporatant to not lose sales to the TRX.
Ford looks to have a rather big year with new models of the F150, Raptor, Mustang MachE, and Bronco.
If there are reservations available Feb 3, who's going to reserve? If it's $100 refundable, I likely will.

To @melvimbe and the point he made with the Bronco, it would definitely make sense that it is put out now as a 2022 model with the 2022's hitting dealerships this fall. Gives plenty of time to build up some units to ship out, some trucks to be hit up by the major review sites, and to build anticipation by buyers. It would also be a bit weird in the model year scheme for a release of the current '21 model year to be very close to a '22 model year.
Not me. If there's one thing I have no interest in, it's the first release of a new model vehicle. No interest is an understatement. Maybe if you gave one to me. Otherwise, no.
