37" tire package has a completely different frame. Different suspension tuning as well.

Both the 35" and 37" tire packages share the same frame. The frames are actually identical other than the spare tire bracket plate.

Suspension is tuned for increased unsprung weight.

...Seems obvious to me Ford was not paying attention that the TRX was coming - if they were they'd have had the Raptor R ready to showoff TODAY to kick Dodge in the teeth

To be fair, the TRX was like "any day now" for what, five years? By the time Ford's spies confirmed that it was actually going to happen, they'd been testing the gen3 for quite a while. They probably started working on a V8 at that point, but big corporations are slow by nature.

Ford screwed the pooch on this one. Direct competition has a 6.2 supercharged V8 and they come out with more of the same but a twist in the exhaust to try to make it sound better :lol2:
