Is anyone here deeply knowledgeable about brakes? I did some reading earlier this year and found that for stopping force only larger rotor or different pads help. Pads are all about tradeoff. More stopping force pads require compromises, squeaking or poor cold performance. to get improved all around performance you need larger discs.

Is this correct? I have only been able to get the tires to squeal on drive pavement in panic breaking once. Makes me think I could use more brake. But that's just on the street. Offroad it's dirt so I should have plenty of brakes.

I don't run long high speed runs with tons of braking so heat isn't my issue.
