Smart start is also offered for this alarm, I just don't have an I-phone I have an Android. But I also don't feel like paying a 30 dollar month fee to have it..

See.....they do not tell you about the monthly fee. Screw that then!!!! I think I am goin to install that system myself. I use to install custom stereo systems.

Iron: Where did they mount the blinking armed light. Can you post a pic?

I called Stereo One in Cordova, TN. For the system like you have (which is the one I would want), they wanted like $825 installed. WTF!!!!!!!!! DAMN are they proud. I can buy the system for around $500.00.

500 WOW! I had it installed for $550 with warranty.
I went back and forth with several Mickey Shores in a price war until I got the final price of 550 then went to the place I wanted to use and asked them if they would price match, and they did.They quoted the viper but the clifford was the same so I got the same price.

I can buy the base system that you have online for $350.00. That is not includeing shock, proximty, tilt, or interior sensors.

I use to install stereos and alarms systems in the past, I wonder if it is a pain?

It looks like a bunch of spaghetti. I guess if you had a wiring diag. for the truck it might give you an idea of where they go which color. They were going to hook mine up to the dome light so if you open either of the 2 doors it would set it off, but I had them hook it up to the door sensors instead cause I do shut off the dome light manually and leave it off. just an idea..
