These smooth tabletop jumps are definitely the best way to go when having fun and getting clean jump pics without damage - especially with a stock truck. It's best to prerun and gradually increase speed so there's less chance of damage if you realize you jumped the wrong hill. The goal is for all four wheels to come down together as much as possible.
Examples abound of cautionary tales with less than perfect landings (and are why a conservative approach plus a serious frame kit and suspension upgrades are a good idea if seeking big air).

Here's another. This guy eventually got it right. Wet muddy track conditions affect the ability to get to the best speed for a jump. Steep learning curve. Also, motocross courses are less likely to have Raptor-friendly hills.
