Unfortunately I don't get the opportunity to do too much too crazy, but my old 2012 was set up similarly and I didn't run into much issue having fun romping around our ranch property and some other places around Tulsa. I have my stock bfgs, so if I ever had the time and opportunity to do a trr or something, I'm sure I'd throw those back on for more room. In the meantime I like the look and feel with the 37s.

Thanks for side shot -- just what I was after. Looks OK for mild activities as you describe. Enjoy it!

so here is a question - what do they think the effect on cooling the intercooler that is behind that lower grille will be when you put a number plate in front of it using those factory holes? Especially here where it will be over 50 degrees C (122F) for months at a time during July and August?

Get a small plate or mount the normal sized plate on the side

I am in the same boat regarding the plate and heat "Abu Dhabi"

I am receiving my Raptor in the week of the 17th of March

just added the 3" dual BM0112 Gibson WMA muffler as seen in the WMA thread....gives off some more aggressive tone without being too crazy or droning...so far so good.

37" r/t's ordered, 40" curved rigid midnight and 3 pair of duallys ordered also! ..just need to decide on a levelling collar and I'll be set for awhile.

Great looking Raptor!

How do you like the Toyo R/Ts/how do they compare to the stock meats?

Thx!

I'm yet to be disappointed with the rt's..ive run them 3 times now. I think they ride well and look quite aggressive for not much noise...way less noise than the trail grapplers on my jeep.

I never felt the stock bfg's balanced well...the rt's aren't giving me that feeling. Obviously they are a little more aggressive and that comes with a little more noise, but well worth it to me at least.

installed some new flush mount rigid midnights in the rear, as well as turned off the in cabin exhaust noise with the Gibson mwa muffler. as the muffler has warmed up it has begun to have a little drone at 2500 rpm, so this helped alleviate some of that.

and for fun, pics next to its new AG driveway-mate.

What did you cut the bumper with. I bought the same lights and I'm having cold feet about cutting the bumper. I was thinking a jig saw as I don't have a plasma cutter.

Measure the back of the lights for size and shape of opening. You might find that a hole saw will do the job. If you go with a hole saw buy a Lennox or Starrett. They make grit edged saws that cleanly cut through metal, if there's metal in the bumper.
