Still waiting for those KMC/XD228 Machete to come back from powder (was out of town on vaca)- I did the same thing! Matte with gloss ring - Prismatic Black Jack with Prismatic Ink Black ring. Chief made the flush caps but the wheels where thicker so he machined a new set taller for me.

Thanks for posting this. I have these tires coming in versus a M/T and was concerned it may not look aggressive enough - I was wrong. She will be a concrete queen so more worried about quietness and driveability versus looks.

Forged but I can have that style ring welded on to most wheel styles. Even a direct bolt for the 17" Method Mesh or Standard
