I push my truck pretty hard several times a year. I have the original National SD springs and they are sagging/sacking out quite a bit at a little over a year old. I have a message in to RPG about shop time at TRR to see if I can upgrade to the 2+ HDs. It will help when I'm towing and offroading with payload in the bed.

I have the National's and love them. No issues to date but have only had them for about 9 months.

JDUB NOTE THIS***** I purchased my Stage 2 and then purchased the springs a couple of months later like you are doing. I kept having issues with my bump shocks as it seemed that I was hitting them on every little bump. After several months, I figured it out.

The bump shocks come with a long profile impact pad if you specified you had factory springs when you ordered the shocks. When you install the aftermarket springs it will lower the back end of your truck and if you leave the regular impact pads on your bump shocks, you will hit your bump shocks on every little bump. They make a low profile impact pad for the shock that you should put on the bump shock when you go to the springs that lower the back end of the truck. If you order the bump shocks and springs at the same time, the shocks come with the low profile impact pads.

RPG was awesome and sent me a set of low profile impact pads for free once I figured it out and called them.

Exactly what happened to me but with the OEM springs!! While installing my bump stop kit I removed the factory block and installed a 1" block. Hit the bump stop over every little bump and was really annoying, as well as sounded like the axle was coming through the bed. After two days of that I reinstalled the OEM block.

I have the Outlaw kit with the Fox 2.0 bumps. Do they sell different impact pads for those or only for the 2.5's?

You should add two more options, WSI HD spring pack, and the add a leaf option. Someone did a great write up on the letter option. Relatively expensive.

I would but can't seem to figure out how to edit the poll...

it seems that if you run either nationals or deavers, your truck won't be level unless you're on mid-perch.

FWIW, mid-perch is reliable, as long as it's done correctly.

JDUB - do the 2.0's have the bolt/nut that holds the bump pad on to the bottom of the shock? If so, I'd bet they make a smaller pad. This bolt/nut is what you remove to replace the pad. (see below)

Once I went to the low profile pad life is great! I no longer hit the bump shock in town even hitting dips at fast speeds.

Hell... shop time? We'll have them changed out in the pit/camping area.

Go to a good spring shop and get them to add a leaf for you. Cost me $300. Did not effect the ride at all, it's actually better now.

I can put 1000 lbs in the bed and it drops an inch. Cannot see this sagging anytime soon...

I use my truck as a truck, the stock spring pack is a joke.

So if you guys were going with a stage 3 set up from rpg, would you go with sd or hd. I rail pretty hard in the dirt, yes i like to catch some air from time to time. I tow a small trailer, its light. 1500lbs.

I have the HDs. Rough and bouncy with no load in the bed. Smooth if loaded. Aggressive running with no or light load would bounce the truck around pretty good.

Do you have a SCREW or SCAB? Do you plan on hauling anything while your running? The HD springs need about 500 lbs to make them work. A SCREW is 300 lbs heavier than the Scab, do your quickly getting to the HD.

also note, the springs are softer than stock, so you so not tow the same. You may want to get a + 2" spring so your more level when you tow.

Also, WSI offers an HD spring that is very comparable, and affordable.
