Hi there new raptor owner just bought the 2020 and love it.

Was looking at getting a nice intake and exhaust for sound and possible performance increase. Was looking at AFE stage 2 intake and Borla S or ATAK.
Advice from anyone that has this or a better recommendation?

That combo sounded great. I previously had that in my truck, but swapped that out for a different combo. Too lazy to go back lol.

Why did you swap out? I’m wondering if this will be obnoxiously loud I want the sound but not be a tool

I have the AFE Stage 2 installed on mine and that alone makes the turbos sound way louder. Borla ATAK, in m opinion, has the best sound. It’s pretty loud if you floor it but if you’re just driving normal you’ll hardly hear it. The idle sound is so much deeper too. I’m installing downpipes eventually and turbo adapters , might have to get a resonator at that point.

I went with the S&B intake, better throttle response and no real increase in noise. I have upgraded with SPD turbo flange adapters, they made a very noticeable improvement with nothing else added than the S&B intake; the SPDs improved drivability-smoother spool up and faster as well, and more lower charge as well. I did add Borla rear pipes, that was very marginal and actually smoothed out the exhaust sound (got rid of the vacuum cleaner sound at the rear). Next will be downtubes before a muffler setup, as most of the exhaust manufacturers don't make much claim of increased power, only noise, with aftermarket mufflers/catback. Downtubes will make more performance improvement over muffler; planning to install SPD downtubes next, as want the increase without voiding warranty or worry about a check engine light.

I just did the Corsa resonator delete. It gave it a good bit more audible grunt but isn't overkill. Haven't done an intake because I keep reading they barely add sound. Neither exhaust nor intake will add any power. If you want power you need a tune (potentially with supporting hardware). Ford did a good job ensuring the stock hardware had well more flow than needed for the stock output.

Wanted to order the Corsa resonator delte, do you have any videos on the sound difference?

Sorry, only a startup sound video from the summer when the difference isn't that noticeable. The difference is significant on cold start and on throttle, but the tone isn't raspy. A friends has a Jeep Trackhawk and always commented he thought my truck sounded a bit wimpy. After doing the resonator delete he saw me pull onto a road and accelerate at half throttle in front of him and he told me is sounded great.
