I am willing to be you won't get it to work, I have to believe since its subscription based Ford has to send an encrypted activation command wirelessly to turn it on. But if you do the only difference Ive read it has is that you'll be able to take your hands off the wheel. But now you'll need to keep your eyes on the road because of the sensors. Hope you get it to work. There is no way id try to do something they officially said they cant get to work. After spending millions to try to get it to work in the truck.. Then refunding us the money. GOOD LUCK not hurting someone, you or your family. Moronic if you ask me. maybe just fly then you can chill.

Dont do it.

The blue cruise is the same as the lane centering but limited to various roads and highways. Until Ford officially turns it on and sends out their update its intended function is that of lane center/adaptive cruise but with no hands on steering wheel/eyes on road.

I think the only over zealous lunatics here are the few in the comments (likely ones who didn't know what blue cruise was and/or was fine with the feature being removed from their "off road truck" to which they'll never actually use it).

It's feature and functionality will mimic their present day lane centering, thus, as we know it's not the best system - clearly you will need to pay attention to the road and to your environment. It's fascinating that you believe the system will be less safe and effective than the regular lane centering, this seems hilarious... do you want to know how many times I've had to take over steering around a corner with lane centering in the f150? The thing cannot distinguish the difference between continuing lanes and long right hand turn lanes so it veers.

If your position is you think ford turned it off in the truck because they think the truck is going to go skynet and take a 90 degree corner into a barrier.. well.. I got bad news for you. It would have done the same exact thing with lane centering on. The technology, cameras, and sensors we have that are being used are the EXACT same in blue cruise with the only difference being on go-live day the mapped out highways pre-planned by Ford will have further ability and functionality and likely safety.

Y'all just don't know what the system is.. sometimes I do forget I'm on the f150 forum vs the Tesla one.. or even the Hummer one.. or Rivian one.

A couple of guys here are trying to add it but have had no luck so far. Get with @topgun964 to see what he’s done so far and perhaps y‘all can collaborate. Despite others telling you not to, you seem pretty head strong about having this so good luck!

my point was that if your going to want to chill for 4 hrs. get a clue. you still need to be aware of everything. if you want to chill take a train plain or bus. None of those are as fun, I would rather drive for a trip 5 hr or less.
The lane centering and adaptive cruise is plenty for my needs.

My understanding is that that the BlueCruise software doesn't play nice with all of the off-road sensors on the Raptor. That means that if you manage to turn it on, it is not going to work as intended.

It is not the same as lane centering as BlueCruise allows you to overtake and pass other vehicles. If there is a conflict due to the sensors, if you manage to turn it on and use it, you may kill someone. If you want BlueCruise, go buy an F-150 that has it tested and enabled.

I personally think self driving is cool but I wouldn't use it. That takes the joy out of actually driving a car/truck for me!
