CA Vehicle Code 5200 states if you were issued 2 plates, one goes on the front, the other on the rear. Thanks!
As for where I put the front plate... I don't. As I understand it, if the vehicle didn't come predrilled for a plate, you are not required to put one on in California. After all, there are no holes for it, right?
My OEM bumper didn't come with holes because I told the dealer I wouldn't buy it from them if they put them in there. They're supposed to, and of course they told their former employee John Smith to put them in, and all that jazz ... And the ADD didn't come with holes either, so again I have no where to put the plate.
I know that doesn't fly for lots of you guys in other states. I'm not entirely sure where ADD puts the holes for you guys that require 'em.
VC 5201 states the positioning of the plates.
