Thanks!

As for where I put the front plate... I don't. As I understand it, if the vehicle didn't come predrilled for a plate, you are not required to put one on in California. After all, there are no holes for it, right?

My OEM bumper didn't come with holes because I told the dealer I wouldn't buy it from them if they put them in there. They're supposed to, and of course they told their former employee John Smith to put them in, and all that jazz :baby:... And the ADD didn't come with holes either, so again I have no where to put the plate.

I know that doesn't fly for lots of you guys in other states. I'm not entirely sure where ADD puts the holes for you guys that require 'em.
CA Vehicle Code 5200 states if you were issued 2 plates, one goes on the front, the other on the rear.

VC 5201 states the positioning of the plates.

The only problem I have ever had with front plate was 1. When i was giving the Meter-Maid an ear full on my parking ticket and 2. Being in the wrong place and the officer needed some probable cause to pull me over. I got a ticket from the Meter Maid and the cop let me go after he saw I wasn't up to anything bad. I haven't had an issue at all with the Raptor and I have been pulled over 4 times for various other "fix it" tickets.

Oh vanilla, I'm cleaning up the truck from Mojave tomorrow. I'll spend some time and pull those plates off when done, and throw up some pics for ya. Hopefully I'll have everything up for ya to see by tomorrow evening!

No worries, it's all good, you've been out having fun!!! :)

As for the front plate, it's just a law so they can use the red light cameras and to get cops an reason to pull you over if don't have one and if they suspect something else going on. Like bstoner, i was pulled over too because of no plate, but they were looking for something else...and left with not ticket for no front plate.

ADD, is that something that is easily mounted, then removed? If it is, and if you don't have another example Venom on a truck somewhere easily available, if you want to send me that mount I'll get it on with a plate, take a bunch of pics, post them up and send the mount back to ya. It'd be no trouble. Just let me know.

Thanks for the offer but it's not easily done, The brackets need to be built in for dual 4" Rigids. We do have the Plates cut out but haven't had the chance to install it yet.
