Removing the skid. I’ve been changing from the top.

Could possibly put U-nuts on the inner winch mount plate to replace the nuts when bolting up the hawse fairlead.

That’s what I was going to suggest. Might need to order a rather specific U nut online somewhere since it’s gotta be about 2” long but doable.

I got rid of the bolts and nuts that hold the skid plate on and replaced them with u-nuts that way the skid plate can actually be removed for oil changes. I learned the hard way after having the honey badger and having to change the filter from the engine bay
Hey, I got a new one for my 2024 and like the idea on the bolts, and just wondering what size and where you got yours from. I'm hoping the bolts on my bumper are the same size as yours. Thanks!
