I’m 6’3” and with the king 3.0 setup on mine I had to use a small step stool to get it relatively easily but it was a tight fit for my arms

Yes you will need a step of some kind. The oil re-direct that is built in from Ford works well. I happen to have one up on the lift today so I snapped these pics just now.

from under the hood? How long are your arms? and once you install an aftermarket inter-cooler, can you still access the filter from under the hood?

Yes, pop the hood, use a step of some sort, & reach down, its pretty wide open. The raptor pictured above has our IC kit on it.

Your new ADD Pro Bolt on bumper has a removable skid, does it not? I just received mine and the bolts on the skid can be taken out.

All of our bumpes have removable skid plates, I said I dont know of any bumpers that have an opening in them for the oil. As pictured above, the built in oil re-direct spits the oil out on the side of our bumper.

The ones that I used for the ADD pro bolt on were 3/8-16. Not sure if the same bolts are used on all of them

I dont know about Gen 2 or the stealth bumper skid plate, but I have a Venom bumper on my Gen 1 and I can get into it easy enough from the bottom on the side of the skid plate. Not as easy as the stock plate, but not that much of a problem to get to the filter.

Don’t get me wrong I absolutely hate changing the oil on this truck!

The vac takes out a little more than 2 quarts and the rest doesn’t shoot out as bad and I was able to move the pan around with little loss.

I got rid of the bolts and nuts that hold the skid plate on and replaced them with u-nuts that way the skid plate can actually be removed for oil changes. I learned the hard way after having the honey badger and having to change the filter from the engine bay

I think the u-nuts are the best solution. Don’t know why ADD didn’t just use them or they could’ve welded the nuts too.
