These side steps bolt directly to the frame and do NOT require any drilling or cutting.
They are plated top and bottom and provide your truck with needed protection from rocks, debries, etc. Stock side steps are bolted to the pinch welds of the truck body, so there are many failure points and they are very likely bend and break and cause expensive body damage with offroad use.
Our Gaurds come powdercoated in any color and ready for install.

That would be great. But it sounds as if they are not real rock sliders that would hold the weight of the truck.

GREAT LAKES RAPTOR EXCURSIONS

I couldn't say as an absolute, but when I was installing them, there was a point where I was lifting the side of the truck off the ground with my floor jack under one of the supporting pipes.

I purchased them used, w/o hardware and purchased my own grade 8 hardware. 7 bolts on each side. they are very stout!

I like them since they bolt directly to the frame, but I would like to see the step all way down the bar. It's lacking the ADD style I'm use to seeing.... If you know what I mean...

i think so... a little more aggressive?

So far i'm very happy with them; i originally was going to buy the AMP research steps, but after talking to some friends, figured they may not hold up well to impacts. I've been with a couple of Raptors with OEM steps off-roading where we've bottomed out (fairly gently) on rocks and both times the OEM steps bent. No damage to mine...

In theory, you shouldn't have to, but I had to "ream out" the holes to get everything to line up. Easily done with with a step bit.

Looks like they've branched out quite a bit. The R sereries looks the most "sliderish"
