Great idea. I like the clean look and the fact they bolt to the frame.
If I could offer a suggestion:
Lose the welded on steps, I understand the function, but don't like that they are there on the trail. (I am speaking from a up north in the woods type driving.
For around town I would have some bolt on steps for around town that can be removed just before you head out on the trail. Trough them back on when you are done.
This idea has worked great on the other rigs.
