On a serious note this is one of my biggest fears especially in the desert. You can't see these things until the last second...especially going at a good clip. Imagine doing that in a Raptor with the stock bumper...Ryan said some suspension mounts were damaged so they were moving good enough to tear stuff up!!

No on the airbags, but kinda suprised they didn't go off as well.
To be honest, It was fun and worth it. We had a good time and we tested the bumper. Win Win for us.! Plus, if you aren't using the truck for what you built it for, how much fun is it?
I also agree that if we where going 60-70mph we would of cleared the ditch. I'll save that for next time.... :)

And to the Janet Reno comment... Do you know who I am? I DRIVE A DODGE STRATUS!!!!!

I think crashing it is one of the risks you run by using the truck the way it was designed to be used...no one wants to crash their truck but driving at a good speed off-road makes that possibility a lot more likely.

And you risk getting run over when you cross the street. Doesn't mean you walk across it with your eyes closed

Seriously, there's something to be said about knowing the terrain and taking your time before blasting across unfamiliar territory. I'm not criticizing anyone. I'm glad ADD is taking this incident in stride and is proud of how his bumper worked.

But someone needs to mention the importance of knowing where you're running beforehand otherwise it could lead to driving into a ditch at 20-25 MPH and coming to a "complete stop".

I think the word you guys are looking for is "prerunning" and doing this "prerunning" thing might have saved ADD a bumper. ADD, you have earned the priveladge to wear this
