I have opti-coat on the truck. I just use a detailing spritz & don't have to wax it.

Wheels are easier to clean with a wax helping keep the junk off.

Incidentally, these questions are my attempt at changing from the products I'm currently using to try the equivalent Adams product.

It doesn't have to be a wheel specific wax or sealant though. Any of them that you would use on your paint will work just as well on the wheels.

You should have the guy who did the Opti-Coat on your truck do your wheels, or you could do it yourself. Your wheels will come clean just as easily with it as your paint does and would be far better that any wheel wax.

Quick Sealant is our go-to product for wheels. It's an aerosol sealant that has great longevity, even in the hostile environment that wheels live in.

Easy to use, doesn't require a long cure-time like a Machine Sealant, and one can of it will do a set of wheels 6-8 times, give or take.

Aren't the videos great. I'd still like some hands on for the first few times. Not the washing as long as you know not to use dish soap, but the other that I never do like polish and tires the last time I did a tire it turned brown could have been the cheep crap I used.

I took advantage of Adams spring sale and stopped by their warehouse today to pick up my order. Everyone there was really nice and very helpful.

And the smell inside the warehouse was amazing!

Here's a little something they had sitting in the corner:

After Seeing IRONMAN'S A-M-A-Z-I-N-G video (LOL), I ordered the Starter Kit, too - with the FRF discount just now. I will not wash my truck again until I get it someday next week.

So, I've had my truck for 2 weeks now and I have already bought the 5-Star Tuner from Mike (in transit to here now) and now these cleaning products... Does that rate me a Vendor-Supporting Member yet?
