Thanks for the review, truck looks GOOD! Throw a coat of Americana on there, then it will really shine!

Something to note; it's always a good practice to wash the plush MF towels before their first use. There are usually a few rogue fibers from the cutting/packaging process that will follow you, especially on black, if they aren't washed first.

As you've noticed, SVRT is pretty incredible stuff. It's water-based, not silicone, so it doesn't leave a greasy, slimy, dir-attracting residue behind. It also contains SPF35 so it will help protect from the sun's harmful effects.

Thanks again for the kind words...I'll be watching for the next video installment. :)

Oh I can't wait to do the the Americana wax for sure.
Gotta get all the tar off first. What do you recommend or what product do you have that will work the best.
Plus is there a video on showing the procedure for doing a full paint detail?
I have the Porter-Cable 7424XP 6-Inch Variable-Speed Polisher that I want to use to it's full potential.

-Bug and Tar remover
-swirl remover
-polish
-wax
What are the best steps you recommend?

Thanks

The shampoo was like a never ending bucket of suds and left the truck very nice but the detail spray put it over the edge for me.
I just couldn't believe how shinny it looked just with that.

Clay bar is usually the least-aggressive method of tar removal. If that doesn't cut it, a little APC on a towel will do the trick as it's made to target petroleum-based contamination.

Our videos are setup as different chapters for every different product, so a "full paint detail" could include a lot of chapters, just depends on which you'll be performing.

Instructional Detailing Videos

As far as steps are concerned, you're on the right track.

  • Wash
  • Clay
  • Polish
  • Sealant
  • Glaze
  • Wax

Any of the above steps can be omitted, but the ones you do should be performed in that order for the best results.

Thanks for the amazing video.

Is the SVRT Adams' product that would be most like the Wolfgang exterior trim sealant? I don't see any wheel waxes offhand. Does Adams make one?
