Can I use the clay bar and VRT on the decals(hood and bedsides)?

Do not use the Clay Bar on the vinyl decals, it can cause damage.

Yes, you can use VRT on the vinyl decals.

You can also use H2O Guard & Gloss to protect the vinyl, as shown in this post:

VINYL GRAPHICS – Gloss vinyl can be treated with the same protection products as the paint. Matte vinyl can be stained by most sealants and waxes. Protect matte vinyl with VRT or H2O Guard & Gloss. Do not clay or use a machine polisher on any vinyl. Matte vinyl can be cleaned by hand with either Revive Hand Polish or Brilliant Glaze.
