Any suggestion on the best product to use on a brand new vehicle? Not sure if sealant or wax of some sort would be best?

On a new truck, start with a good wash, then use the clay bar to remove any bonded contaminates like rail dust, then I would use Paint Sealant instead of wax, since the Paint Sealant will last longer and provide better protection.
Thanks Dan,
So, after using the sealant, what would be a good product to polish up after a wash? On the previous truck I would typically use some sort of spray wax after washing. Is that a good idea after using the paint sealant? Does the sealer give you that nice slippery wax feel?

One more question,
I have a Griots random orbit polisher. Will your pads fit the Griots unit?

After washing, use Detail Spray as you dry. This product provides lubrication as you towel dry, and also leaves some shine.
To give the Paint Sealant a boost, you can use H2O Guard & Gloss every month or two. It is a water-activated acrylic sealant that is applied as you dry.
The Paint Sealant is very slick.
Which GG polisher do you have?
Also, check out this thread for more info, and in Post #2 there are links to some write-ups.

I have their 6" Random Orbit model.
Looks like that machine comes with a 6" backing plate, which is too big for our 6" and 5.5" pads that need a 5" backing plate. So you would have to change the backing plate to 5".
GG has a 5" backing plate that you can use on your machine, as long as your machine uses a 5/16"-24 threaded shaft, and NOT the four screw mounting system on the original GG Random Orbital.
If you machine has the threaded shaft, you can also use the Adam's 5" Porter Cable Backing Plate as it has the same 5/16" threaded shaft as the GG plate.
Thanks for the info and super fast response!
I have their 5" plate as well. So, I should be all set. I'm putting together an order and it looks like some of the items on sale are out of stock. Could they be ordered at the sale price and shipped when available?
Sorry, the system won't allow a product to be ordered if it is out-of-stock.
Which items are you wanting to order that are out-of-stock?
Hmm..I must have tried to buy the xmas detail spray. I'll just get the regular stuff. Thought there was something else, don't see it now.
Are the borderless gray towels appropriate for almost anything or would you suggest something else?
