ACC start/stop in a 2017?

I like the concept of the ACC start/stop, as I live in Dallas. You think there will be any way to upgrade the system if I already have the ACC?

Based on the order guide, the 2018 raptor won't have stop and go acc either. It will keep the same acc from the 2017. Disappointing.

And from the little that I have researched, there will be additional required hardware (additional LIDAR unit) in addition to software differences, so I imagine a simple upgrade is unlikely.
