The numbers on the knobs don't bother me. I actually like them on the upper edge of the screen as they are easier to see. The cheaping out on the LED's though...geez...Now I'm going to have to find a way to mod that cupholder and get a light in the glove box. Also find some replacement LED's for the license plate.

Trust me on this one, the numbers on the dials are gold. Big mistake by Ford to cheapen this. My wife’s Volvo has no numbers on the dials, you have to look at the damn screen. In some settings, full screen camera, you have to wait for the screen to update. The lag is enough that it’s very annoying. Also in some nav screen settings, the temp setting number goes away, you have to then turn the dial to bring it back. If Ford leaves the numbers on the screen (all the time), they then have effectively reduced the screen size.

That’s what it looks like in the video, that bar stays with the temp and time and the two screens stay below it, slightly reducing the screen size for nav, pages,…

The temp numbers are indeed in the top bar with the weather/time/etc. Pretty easy to read, and they are always on/there.

If you look at the video posted in this post you will see that they DID shrink the display to accommodate the temp display.....very annoying

Yeah, does‘t bother me. My wife’s 21 XC60 has them on the screen, but I haven’t noticed any of the issues you mention. They are large numbers, but lower on the screen.

I wish they didn't create a permanent bar across the top for the information. Would've been nice to include it in the "Card" portion of the screen instead. Make the climate control a permanent portion of each card. I don't particularly care if the temp dials have a readout or not. I think I actually perfer it without. Makes the interior look cleaner.

I'm pissed about the cup holder lighting though, as small as it is, it's a nice touch. There's a guy over on the F250 forums that has retrofitted his 2022. Gonna have to look into a work around for my truck.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the wiring harness wasn’t still there to add that option in from the 2021’s
