The included harness that comes with the XL80s isn't quite long enough, as you learned. It's why we offer a "kit" with the correct length harness, the 55" splitter harness, which gives you the length you need to connect the lights together.

Have the Alternative Off-road ones. Concept of design is great but they seem to be crooked and facing down. Got mine at the end of the year and put them on a month ago. Maybe they had a bad batch. I have sent them multiple emails, no response. [emoji2371]



I might try the ZRoadz ones. Does anyone know if they work with the XL80’s and no vibration?

I went the SDHQ mount and XL80 route, too.




I ended up clipping the weather pack ends and replacing with Deutsch DTPs. Reused the BD wiring harness to bridge the lights and then just ran my own to the factory up-fitters (AUX 3, for those curious) and the LVJ relay box.

Since then, I added some LP6s to the front bumper (outboard AUX 1, inboard AUX 2) and some squadrons to the rear bumper (AUX 3). I used a custom LVJ harness for the front bumper and just made my own for the rear squadrons.

Last will be the S2s for the GJ third brake light (AUX 4 and 5).
