I like it!
Yes, you will need to use some angle brackets or a continuous angle as the Soltice come with bottom mount hardware only. You may need to consider a backup plate on the inside of the grille as the grille seems kinda flimsy which may allow the lights to 'bounce' a bit.
I had posted a vid of my old truck after I put only two of them inside the bumper cutouts - they are awesome lights and your idea to put six in a row should be dazzling!

I'm now considering the PIAA 570 LED's to stuff in the bumper for now The reflectors on them are pretty good at boosting output - the only drawback is that they are 7" in diameter.

Dually d2 pull 1 amp each (i am pretty sure of this) so 7 amps total...
Since I will be using wide and spot d2 would be seperating them with 2 switches..

Okay one last one for the night.. here is hidx 4" hid lights...

After some suggestions I went back and whipped up another "incredible" photoshop...

Using 6 4" 50-WATT SOLSTICE PRIME LED LIGHT both 20 degree and 40 degree lights... With an aproximate 25,800 lumens (each prime is rated at 4300 lumens) Each solstice prime has 5 10 watt led for a total of 30 10 watt leds..

Mounting on the upper grill there is only space for 6 4" led lights because of amber lights and grill supports.. Would be able to use factory mounting points for the grill with minimal amount of fab work (metal and tabs) to make it work..

Comments, suggestions, etc welcome...

Nice work Greg! I'm wanting to do something different and still keep the clean stock look of the truck. I'm thinking the 6 up high would be the best...then 2 more on hood mounts just in case :peace:

While I like the first idea better this might be the best way to go because of the added weight of the lights so far from where the grill brackets bolt to the hood. Unless you are planning on making a reinforced grill mounting bracket... The weight added to the grill is my only concern but, I really like the concept!!! I think it looks sweet and stealthy looking...
How much does each light weight?

I like the idea of up high, but it gets too busy with the 3 amber lights..

How much does each light weight?

each light is 2-3 lbs... I am planning to reinforce the grill for the additional 14-21 lbs, and viberation.. try to make it all bolt on/up as possible.
