I went to see the Raptor at the LA Auto Show tonight and noticed a couple things: First, I know this has been discussed extensively, but after seeing Avalanche, which I think is great, I do not believe it is the same color as Avalanche Grey on the GT350. I've also seen the AG on the GT350 in person and I swear it's darker than Avalanche on the Raptor. Maybe it was the lighting, but I don't think so. Regardless, I thought it looked great and I'm glad I chose the color for my Rap.

Second, I've seen so many pics of the rear wheel well that's just the exposed bottom/side of the bed of the truck (white truck, you see white in the rear wheel well-see attached pic). But tonight I noticed that the rear wheel well had a contoured, black (metal, I believe) cover placed in there. It looked great! I'm attaching a picture to show what I'm talking about - hope it works so you guys can see what I mean...

I really hope our production trucks come with the cover because it looks soooo much better I think.

The color in person is great, and I agree, totally different than the mustang.

I found it odd that the raptor was in the very back of the ford display. Super duty was clearly taking a victory lap.

Wheel well covers

I believe those are wheel well covers. You can buy them on the ford merchandise site at ford.com. I wasn't sure they would work on the raptor because of its unique shocks but i agree it does look a lot better then the white underbed. I painted mine on my last raptor but I think I will buy these now.

Raptor's Avalanche paint is the same paint code as the GT350, probably just the lighting.

In past the liners didn't the raptor because of the bedside. The shocks mounts are identical to an f-150 so the physical shocks play no part in it

The raptor in that pic above is white, correct?

I ordered AG, but thought about silver too. I am going to look at a GT350 in AG this weekend, so was hoping they were the same.

The trucks I've seen in person do not have the bed visible in the rear.

If it's the same color, why does ford have 2 avalanche color options on their site?
