OK, had issues with my AC acting up, would not blow at all or would get locked on full blast…. Figured it was the resistor for the blower motor based on my research. Replaced it and now the recirculating function does not engage. Any thoughts? Replace the resistor again? I don’t want to chase after solenoids if I don’t have to…

Thanks to our hive mind that I respect greatly.

Haven’t heard this one before. So all of your blend doors are working properly? Does the recirc light come on?

All the lights come on, just won’t recirculate air. Makes no sense since it would lock on full blast recirculating air before the replacement of the resistor.

So, to follow up, replaced the aftermarket resistor with an OEM version:

2011 Ford F150 Truck with Automatic Temperature Control with Electronic Dual Zone AC Blower Motor Resistor

$89.95

Did the trick, all controls back to normal.

Hope this is useful for the next guy dealing with this problem.

Very Good !!!!!!! Now if i can get my A/C to blow colder than 55-65 in AZ Heat i would be good. I need to change condenser but that isn't happening till the winter to dam hot out .So my gen 1 is only driven on my day off early in the morning.
