I believe that this "fuel charge" is for the vehicles which get your vehicle to you. Trains, trucks etc.

You are correct but ford pays the dealers to fill the tank and do pre delivery checklist such as check all fluids, set tire pressures make sure everything works as it should.

I thought $96 was about right for my area.. $3.65'ish a gallon for regular. Still don't like it..

any engine runs best running whatever the manufacturer suggests. unless you have a custom tune, in which case you run what the tune calls for. running higher octane when its not called for is simply taking money out of your wallet, and burning it. pointless.

I thought the Raptor made 10 extra horse on 93?

I test drove mine just after it backed off the truck. It was dirty and empty.




It has 7 miles on it when I got in and only 5 miles til empty.

They detailed it and filled it up. No extra $$ on my paperwork other than the destination charge.

36 gallon on a SCrew. I filled up with 93 @ 3.71 gal for $120 this afternoon

I always get my cars right off the truck, and plan on doing the same when the Raptor comes in. Cars/trucks are pretty much running on fumes - but the dealer has always given me a voucher for a local Sunoco and let me fill it up with whatever I want!
