Unless your running a tuner set up for high octane, that's just a waste.

Yes I'm running a tune for it. Have intake, headers and high flow cats and exhaust.

It's pretty simple. A liter is about a quart.

I need to educate myself on advantages of higher octane. What do most people run? I was under the impression that an engine would run cooler on higher octane fuel.

any engine runs best running whatever the manufacturer suggests. unless you have a custom tune, in which case you run what the tune calls for. running higher octane when its not called for is simply taking money out of your wallet, and burning it. pointless.

Local dealerships here have contracts with certain gas companies. My fiance's dealership uses Petro-can for all their gas (they get a dealer discount). On a side note I spend 135 filling up the Raptor earlier today and I had about 1/8 of a tank left.
