801A vs 802A

I ordered the 802A but not the Technology package.

I don't need something to notify me when I've gone over the lines in the road LOL! And the auto high beams seemed a waste for me since I use my light bar in place of high beams anyway. The rain sensing wipers would have been nice though. But I'd rather spend that $2k on wheels/tires/bumpers.

Yes you are correct. If you get the 801A package or better you get the Sync 3 system that comes with Android Auto or Apple Car play. Works great for navigation and music. I have the 801A and just added some of the features from the 802A package that I wanted of which 1 of them was the remote start. Also would always recommend adding Sync connect to be able to connect to the truck from you phone. Based on what I recall it was very cheap to add.

I did what most 810A folks did for the same reasons. No boost gauge for a twin turbo truck though? That's silly.

Exact same. And went 802a because i wanted all the goodies. Figured I'd never use the tech pkg. Wish I could've got the carbon fiber though

I really regret not getting the Carbon Fiber also. I'm in communication with a company out in Cali that's working on a real carbon fiber over lay package for the Raptor. I'm looking forward to the results.

i went with the "basic" 802a. no options added. liked that it included the rear seat belt airbags. and i wanted torsion front end. didn't want the tech pkg cause i never use cruise. also the 802a has the sony sound which i enjoy.

Gentlemen,
Would like your opinions. It's a $6K difference between the two and I'm leaning towards the 801A.
Things I don't care about:
The 4.10 front diff.
The front camera.
Brake controller.
Dual zone AC.

I would add the heated mirrors and remote start.
What I do want is the 8" touch screen. Mostly to be used for nav as a GPS. Is the nav/GPS included in the 801? Is there a monthly charge?
Do any of the 801 guys wish they got 802 and do any of the 802 guys wish they hadn't.

I almost bought an 800 off a dealer lot but couldn’t come to a deal, ordered an 802 instead. Thought a lot of the features were a gimmick until I started using using them.
