No. I miss the 8' bed from my F350 but don't carry enough cargo to bother with the worse ride quality. I was just curious if it was a drop in replacement.
I feel like subtlety is going unheard on this thread...
The answer to your question is no. Definitely no no no. Also no.

The wheelbase is different. The wheels on the Raptor won't like up with the wheel wells on the 8'.

I won't go into the rest of the nonsense. Just no.

WTH?! Do what I did and go out and buy a flat bed trailer.
Don't destroy a perfectly good Raptor.
MHO...

I’d like to think this question was never brought up by any Gen1 owners.

Just sayin... something’s a bit off with you ecoboosters!!! Lol

(uh oh... I can already hear the Mob forming)

As much as I want to agree with you, this is a Gen 1 post (unless it's just in the wrong place, which I suspect)!!!

Unfortunately you can't have it both ways. You want the ride/handling of the Raptor and the utility of the longer bed.
These two things oppose each other and would require mods that would be a little silly.
You sort of have to choose between what the Raptor offers for suspension/handling and what other trucks offer for load carrying.
