Came in over the weekend, dealer got shady and did not price protect and tacked on a 2k ADM you could tell they were chomping at the bit for me to back out. At this point that was the best I was going to get so I bit the bullet. Looks like I will probably never go there again if I don't have to.

His and Hers line up nicely though.

Truck looks great. My ETA has been pushed back again. Truck has been sitting at a rail yard 4 hours away for about 2 weeks.

I imagine this has been said but people paying adm is madness for any vehicle, it’s a truck! I mean my Blackwing had people paying 10-15k over and I was just shocked as I signed my paperwork at MSRP that I was even paying MSRP for the first time in my life for a vehicle. The power of FOMO is strong in this crowd, if my dealer did that I would walk away and let someone else be ripped off period and never go back there. Dealers will continue to do this to people if people allow it.

You right that FOMO is definitely a thing, I got the wife's 392 at 10% off MSRP and my 18 Raptor at just under MSRP. We ended up selling vehicles during covid(Raptor, Type R, Explorer ST) for home upgrades and payoffs and down to one vehicle, wanted a truck and have been struggling with one jeep between the two of us for 5 months. I am not making a case for ADM's but to each situation their own. I ended up making money selling my cars, so the market definitely does not make any sense. After bouncing around for 14 months well im just exhausted of looking. If i just paid the 5K over on the one I looked at back then I would have been les than the MSRP now. Some win, some lose, I definitely lost this battle friend.

My ETA Just got pushed back again. Now it’s 17-20th let’s see how long it takes. It’s been sitting since October 13th in Texas 30m away from the dealership. It’s frustrating. 30m away and still can’t get delivered.

What Stealership was it? That’s some bs. No price protection plus an ADM. F that. I’ll be on the horn with ford corporate so fast to make sure they know why I walked from my order with shady stuff like that!
Also, I’d be walk-in… don’t need a Raptor that bad.

Just chatted with Ford customer service. The drones tell me that the Raptor is being handed off to the 2nd rail line somewhere in Indiana.
Then curiosity got the best of me and started picking their brain on price protection and that my dealer might not be holding true to the order price from last October. He is going to keep it at MSRP, that’s been promised to me but I keep on hearing the same thing “I don’t think Raptor is price protected”. So figured what the hell, complain a little about it and document my frustration with it all. Feedback goes to the dealership and ford corporate she says. I’m sure I’ll **** off the dealer, but I don’t care if I walk from the truck. I don’t need it, I want it. I’ve went in multiple times now to hear, I messaged the regional rep, call you back in an hour or 2. Still crickets. I think this is a worse experience then what I’m going through with the Bronco I have ordered through Granger (not their fault).

I’m still salty on ford saying “broncos will be built according to reservation time stamp” & “no dealer stock until reservations have been built”. Yeah, that bs changed quick.

Mine should be here next week. I’ll let you know how my dealer handles the price protection. They’re acting just like yours. “Pay the new msrp”.
