I had a 22 order that got turned into a 23 and my 22 order that’s currently in production, I bet there both going to be sitting out there together when I get built week. Wondering which one would get here first lol.

I put a deposit on a 2022 37pp (Sunroof, pwr tailgate, Carbon fiber, Tailgate applique) that was stock-ordered by dealer on 7/6/2022, went into production on 9/14 and flipped to “built” yesterday 9/22. Now its “awaiting shipment” with ETA of 10/6-10/12 to dealer (status from dealer). Looks like things are moving. Not sure why certain builds sit for months and others move thru the system normally.

Because it’s a stock order. Ford will always built stock orders faster than, customer orders. they will always help the dealerships first. Even with their crazy markups.

This is not true. Orders are orders, allocations determine which get picked up.

I’m not talking about allocations I know that. I’m talking about when their both built. What the guy was saying is that the dealership stock ordered
Not really. I think allocation only works on the scheduling phase, both orders are in production but stock order got built first even with chip and parts shortage.
What he said ^^ allocations works for scheduling. But there’s a bunch of trucks waiting on chips, and a stock order will always be built first even with a shortage which is stupid.

Still very skeptical, do you have something aside from a stock order that got built to back this up? That would basically mean they're operating 2 separate assembly lines. That seems unlikely. Are you sure the order priority was the same?
