While a lot are customer cars and many are not on the lot there are more and more being added every day.....I give it end of February before dealers are at MSRP for on the lot trucks....I've got deals all day for $5K over but with such crappy trade offers on my 2015 GMC I'm gonna play the waiting game....

My "allocation" and "order" from Dec 14th at $1,000 under MSRP still has not been picked up by Ford....it could be today or weeks from now....I'm beginning to think the whole allocation game is a total bunch of BS.....

Dec order date ? -- a little impatient- I just got a build date for my order a few days ago and I ordered Aug 4 - and only because I dropped the beadlock wheels was it picked up for a build. There are people that ordered two weeks before me without build dates yet. Yours will still beat a few summer orders to the lot I bet which is ridiculous

There are people on here with order dates after mine that already got build dates....

yep, prices are gonna drop, eventually. i just hope it is sooner rather than later. i can hold a few more months, so i'm really hoping they drop soon.

I've called on a lot of them and they don't include the ADM on Cars.com for a reason. Bait and switch.

yeah you really have to visit the dealer website and even then sometimes it says "call for price". as much of a pain as it is, the dealer websites are the best way to get reasonably up-to-date information.

Good call on cars.com. I never thought to even look there since I just assumed there would be so few on dealer lots that weren't special ordered. Found one almost exactly like the one I have on order. They're asking $5k over, but getting it today instead of who knows when is tempting.

Precisely. I suspect many of us have been waiting far longer (July 30th here), and have yet to become a member on this forum, or chime in. For some reason, I was one of those "guests" always scouring the threads....never participating. I was finally prompted to join in when I saw posts complaining of December orders that were still "unscheduled clean". Of course, after putting in my 2 cents, I did receive the inevitable responses from some that I almost certainly do not have a dealer with a legitimate allocation. Huge issues with the rollout of Ford's new baby here, but I suspect a lot of individuals' situations will be improving by next month.

I'm definitely impatient and freely admit it....I wouldn't have an issue ar even ask had my dealer tell me for 1) certain they have an allocation, 2) the order would be picked up within a few days of entering it the system, and 3) I should have my truck in 12-16 weeks.....with the order still sitting in the system I don't see it....

And I understand many have been waiting longer and my guess is a dealer took an order and deposit even before allocations were given out....now they're basically waiting just for an allocation....

As I said I'm not patient especially when it comes to vehicles.....There's deals all day for $5K over and I'm just not willing to do that.....I would however consider $2,500 over MSRP on a truck with the options I want to get it now...especially beadlocks....dealers just don't seem to be there yet.....and I guess all this thinking goes away if I get a build date.....
