There's always a corner case, but 100% of the dealers I've contacted that have inventory on the lot want at a minimum of $5K over regardless of the price on the internet

I called all the ones listed below MSRP and they all said they have a markup. One idiot said they have no control of the listings on Cars.com, it's all up to Ford Motor Company on what is posted. Damn these guys are dumb

There may actually be some truth to that. I've talked to multiple dealers and several have said their website inventory is controlled by Ford's system. And cars.com is fed directly from their website. The reason the link Sasquatch77 posted is showing below MSRP is because that dealer has this feature called "Our Price" which is some marketing ploy to how their transparency. They are not selling for that price. I would be pretty impressed if there were ANY listed on autotrader.com or cars.com that were actually going for under MSRP or even MSRP at this point.

They are correct in a sense....When a car goes to the dealer it's automatically put into their system through Ford....you can see this by searching the Ford inventory on their site.....cars.com will automatically pick up the inventory as it goes into the system and list it.....

I saw my truck listed on the dealer site as in stock for sale with a price of "call". Got all fired up and went down to demand my deposit back if they were selling it out from under me because my deal is MSRP. GM was very nice and explained that Ford posts them and they don't have control over it which is consistent with this thread. Still don't have my truck though...
