So far I have had to replace my radiator and water pump because the truck was overheating, now the cam phasers are being replaced for cold start noise. Truck has been in the shop for over a month an no loaner.

We also have a 2018Raptor with transmission problems. This truck has only 28000 miles on ir and 15 month old. I am worried that we all have ticking time bombs. Of course no one at ford admits to a problem. Glad I found this forum, very educational!!! At least i have other owners with similar problems, so now I can point a finger at ford.

I have a 2018 Raptor with 68,000 miles and feel the exact same way, replacing the water pump right now, and was overheating as well.. the transmission just gave me reason to pause and finding you post is most helpful.... The Dealership is slammed, and cant get to it until Mid-January....
Rental car >>> No loaner >>> When I drove it in to a big Ford Dealer leaking fluid they were very quick to get me to an offsite recommended mechanic that got to it right away... The Raptor leaking coolant in front is not a good look...

Main reason I bought an 8yr/125k warranty with loaner coverage. I love my ‘19 Raptor but I’m not fully trusting of reliability long term. When I’m driving a dealers nice loaner truck, I don’t care if my Raptor sits at the dealer for a while. Free miles is the way I look at it.

Sorry for all your trouble, OP.

What did that set you back? My 2018 has been trouble free for the first 50,000 miles. Cam Phaser issue just started happening, but dealer is taking care of it. Parts are on order and they are providing a loaner. I will look at the extended warranty on my next one.

Is that bumper to bumper? Average cost?
Mine was like $2300 for 7 yr 125,000 $50 deductible I think. it is all mileage and length of ownership dependent. I am sure you can cancel your existing warranty and buy this one with what you get back. This is a ford factory warranty also so acts like the factory bumper to bumper minus getting a rental car and the deductible.
