Get underneath the truck and look at the rear couple of bolts, holding manifold to head. Bet a dollar you have at least 1 broken/missing one.

Quick look around all the bolts and nuts are there. At least the 14 or so I was able to put eyes on.

Fair enough, I was wrong a dozen times this week.
The back bolt on each side gets the most heat fatigue.

The 2012 I had a few years back and the 2014 I just picked up both whistle in that rpm range. Noticed it on the 12 when I went from a paper filter to a k&n. Haven't checked the 2014 if its got one in it or not.

Mine is full stock, down to the brand new oem filter.

I had mine do that once. About a week after I got it when I cranked it it sounded like it had a blower. As soon as I parked it that day it never did it again though. Mine has a low whine from the power steering pump under acceleration though.

Idle air control is integrated into the electronic throttle body.

Does anyone have a whistle when in the throttle in the 1600-2000 rpm range?
