I've always heard you loose 15% with a manual and 20% with an automatic. So 20% of 400 would be about 80hp.

I honestly didn't notice this one done by Hennessey until you pointed it out.

20% is on the very high side for losses... I imagine that some of the loss can be attributed to the larger wheels and tires... big wheels lead to low dyno numbers... also it is a brand new motor so is probably not broken in...

And given Hennessy track record for low ethical standards could be a marketing ploy to make the motor sound underpowered thus needing upgrades.............ok end of pessimistic rant
